  39. Whilst I'm not innately opposed the idea of a bulletin board (server,
  40. archive, whatever), please do spare a thought for us plebs without internet
  41. connections (mind you; I am working on it!). Anyway, the mailing list format
  42. is a Good Thing for developers conferences; there's typically a much lower
  43. noise level than newsgroups/bulletin boards/IRC (mailing lists are typically
  44. much more intimidating to new users :-)

  46. There is probably scope for creating channels on this mailing list, but I 
  47. don't think it's too bad at the moment.
